“RECHARGE & WIN” is a promotional campaign run by MTN Rwandacell PLC (MTN) to reward its customers with cash and non-cash prizes on recharging packs and bundles. It started on 28^th August 2024.

Participation is open to all MTN customers who:

• Use MTN services such as Voice, SMS, Data, or Mobile Money.
• Have not been suspended from the MTN network during the campaign period.
• Are not employees or direct family members of MTN staff or its channel partners.

Customers will just recharge by buying packs, bundles or airtime of at least Two Hundred Rwandan Francs (RWF 200) per day. However, the more you recharge and spend, the better your chances to win.

It is free of charge to all MTN customers. Customers are not charged to join Recharge & win with MTN Promo.

5. How are winners selected?

Winners will be selected through random draws:

Daily Draws: based on recharges done with in that day.

Weekly Draws: based on recharges done with in that week.

Monthly Draws: based on recharges done with in that month.

Grand Draw: based on recharges over the entire campaign period.

The promo has several prize categories, including:

Daily prizes:

Every day, fifty (50) daily winners are determined via a random draw. Each winner will receive Ten Thousand Rwandan Francs (RWF 10,000) on their MoMo account and 1,000 winners for voice and data bundles.

Weekly prizes:

Every weekly draw,  ten (10) winners will receive One Hundred Thousand Rwandan Francs(RWF 100,000) in cash, ten (10) agents will receive One Hundred Thousand Rwandan Francs (RWF 100,000) in cash , ten (10) winners will receive bicycles and five (5) winners will receive solar kits in the regional activations. The selection of winners in each category will be dependent on the region.

Monthly prizes:

Five (5) monthly cash prizes will be given away during the promotion period and for each one of them five (5) monthly winners will be determined via a random draw. Each winner will receive One Million Rwanda(RWF 1,000,000) in cash. One (1) agent will be drawn to receive a motorbike. The day that a monthly prize draw is performed, no daily, weekly, or grand type of prize is drawn.

Grand Prize:

The grand winners will be determined after the end of the promotion period via a random draw. The draw will determine four (4) winners who will win the grand prizes i.e., the first two (2) randomly drawn winners will get Five Million Rwandan Francs (RWF 5,000,000) in cash each and a helicopter ride.

Telco prizes:

Every day, Five Hundred (500) customers will win each Sixty (60) minutes Voice Pack (valid until midnight) and Five Hundred (500) customers will each win 1GB data bundles (valid until midnight) from MTN. All 1,000 winners will be determined via random draws daily. 

Winners of cash prizes and physical prizes will be contacted via MTN’s official line +250784000000

Winners of voice minutes and data bundle will receive a congratulatory text message along with the reward.

Winners must present a valid ID and their active MTN number. For physical prizes, winners may need to visit an MTN office or designated location to collect their prize or in some cases will be delivered.

Winners are responsible for any costs associated with collecting their prize, including transportation.

You can win only once in the entire duration of the campaign.

Prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) days of notification. If not claimed, they will be forfeited.

Disqualification may occur for reasons such as:

• Ineligible participation.
• Providing incorrect or incomplete information, especially Identity information.
• Any attempt to manipulate the outcome of the campaign.
