Analyst-Financial Planning and Budgeting

Key Performance Areas:

• Tracking and approving the Purchase requisition forms (PRF) submitted by departments and reconciling PRF to Purchase order (PO) issued every month.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly company performance slides and ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure accuracy of the Non-Financial Load on Hyperion as per Group Timelines and with all validations cleared.
• Validate and Track Budget lines Reclassification.
• Review of weekly forecasts agreed operational KPIs and report to budget manager.
• Track company performance against agreed operational KPIs and report to the budget manager on monthly basis.
• Review and scrutinize all inputs from all departments for reasonableness, Accuracy, and relevance; ensuring all expenditure is in line with the agreed budgets.
• Participate in Company Business plan model and forecasting; base the annual budgets on identified trends and patterns within the current operations and extrapolate over the next planning cycle.
• Ensure loading of budgeted and forecasted numbers (financial and non-financial).
• Preparation of segments’ performance report; validating completeness and accuracy. This should include revenues, cost of sales and Opex.
