  • Executing pricing and CVM operations that aligns with MTN Rwanda’s strategy and overall commercial focus. 
  • Administering effective pricing policies, initiatives and leading value-based customer investment programs to ensure the profitability of the company.
  •  Implementing value management & retention strategy in order to achieve the objectives of optimizing the ARPU, Churn control and increasing value market share.
  •   Competitor monitoring, market insight and regular analysis of competitors’ offers vs MTN consumer offers, ensuring appropriate and timely pricing alignment.
  • Responsible for balancing value and pricing across consumer segments to ensure the most favorable returns for the company and to deliver on commercial lead KPI’s.
  •  Interfacing with the BI/ Research team including various Product Marketing Managers in evaluating various pricing initiatives. 
  • Responsible for preparing Pricing Project Plans for the introduction of new services, revising pricing for existing services.
  •  Developing innovative pricing for none-core and emerging services (such as RMS, VOD, OTT, etc…) 
  • Working closely with Finance and MTN Strategy team in the production of revenue/ pricing models to ensure that pricing supports or promotes the overall company positioning whilst not overloading the network or missing revenue opportunities. 
  • Provide technical pricing support to product leads in forming their pricing strategies as well as for new product launches. 
  •  Responsible for pricing of roaming & interconnect retail offers. 
  • Performs Tariff Margin Analysis & Simulation for new and existing products. 
  • Monitors competitor pricing activities in the marketplace and proposes appropriate action. 
  • Maintain the tariff book and ensure monthly signoffs of the document by the head of Consumer & Digital department and CFO.
  • Build an understanding of the drivers of value across Voice, Data, VAS, Digital and MFS products and across value bands.
  •   Build Analytical Dashboards to support the CVM The Product team to monitor the Consumer base performance and identify Business Opportunities for cross and up sales.
  •  Build Predictive & Propensity models pertaining to key CVM Lead KPIs: such as Churn management and MFS users.
  •  Identify addressable segments to target from Base value migration analysis.
  • Prepares various reports; as required on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. 
  • Applying analytics across the lifecycle of a customer to identify opportunities to extend the customer lifetime value.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, IT/Computer Science, Economics or Management
  • At least 2 years’ experience of pricing in the Telecom industry (or FMCG) applied to a large product portfolio. 
  • Experience with Commercial Product management with focus on value-based pricing.
  •  Experience with Data Analytics using tools such as, Excel, SQL, Power-BI and Python
  •  Experience in developing Dashboards with excel, Power-BI
