MTN Rwanda is therefore Internally and externally recruiting highly competent and self-motivating individual for the below Position in MTN Business Department.

      Job Title: Manager-Fintech Channel Development

      Job Level: 3L

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Fintech sales team and ensure implementation of acquisition strategies across the market.
  • Develop alliances with key corporate bodies, SMEs, and Government for new business opportunities & growth.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the payment’s agenda across all partners.
  • Develop route to market plans and provide the needed logistics for efficient execution.
  • Provide guidelines/policy direction to achieve fintech sales targets and ensure proper support engagement of Fintech sales team.
  • Ensure that laid down policies and procedures are adhered to in the processing of performance management related to sales activities.
  • Establish and ensure that appropriate control systems required for the effective operations of acquisition team are in place.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and recommendations for the improvement of work processes with regards to Fintech acquisition team (Agents, Merchants, Corporate bodies and distribution).
  • Develop and implement Fintech acquisition initiatives/promotions to drive subscriber activities, Agent & merchant growth.
  • Identify emerging channels, new business opportunities and develop strategies for implementation.
  • Support development of strategic partnership with key corporate for easy adoption of payment solution and easy roll-out of mobile money payment services.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules according to budget and workload.
  • Plan and get budget approval for Fintech acquisition engagements/promotions/campaign and timely source for logistics/infrastructure.
  • Ensure regular engagement and monitoring of Partners to build relationships & grow performance.
  • Develop new products and services with support of third-party aggregators, PSCOM and engage relevant divisions/departments to plan and execute product/service launch events.
Job Requirements
  • A Degree in Marketing or a Professional qualification in a relevant field. Relevant post graduate qualification will be an advantage.
  • 3 years relevant experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Organizational Positioning Skills & Good presentation skills
