Requirements and Number of SIM Cards allowed per Document Type

Pre-Paid Customer

Post-paid Customer

  1. Valid citizen or resident of Rwanda
  2. Employer’s reference – proof of employment
  3. Payslip or proof of income
  4. A Residential and work address (to be filled on the application form)
  5. Completion of application form
  6. Copy of identity document for Nationals
  7. Temporary Residence Permit or copy of passport & visa (Non-Rwanda Citizens)

    A refundable deposit of Frw 96,000 per line

  8. Refundable upon the termination of the postpaid contract

    1. Itemized bill of Frw 920 (if in need of monthly call details on invoices)
    2. An additional Frw 250,000 per line for International Roaming activation will be paid and roaming contract signed if International Roaming service is required.

  3. Trade Reference or memorandum of understanding (where applicable)
  4. Proof of Trading license or Company certificate or MOU
  5. Three months bank statements, for new companies
  6. Names & photocopy ID’s of Directors where the directors are non-Rwandan citizens then temporary Residence Permit or copy of passport & visa 
  7. A refundable deposit of Frw 96,000per line  
  8. Itemized bill of Frw 920 (if in need of monthly call details on invoices)
  9. An additional Frw 250,000 per line for International Roaming activation will be paid and roaming contract signed if the international roaming service is required.
