About Level Up Your Biz
Many small start-ups barely have enough capacity to make it through the first year successfully and lack funds for communication or advertising their businesses. The successful launch and roll out of Level Up Your Business Season 1 in 2021 saw 6 youth led local SMEs receive intensive business skills training sessions, communication and advertising platforms, with the top 3 walking away with seed capital to support their businesses.
This year, MTN Rwanda has once again partnered with Inkomoko Entrepreneur Development and seeks to support promising youth-led SMEs/start-ups in Rwanda in the second season of Level up Your Biz.
Through a competitive application process, 6 youth-led SMEs/start-ups will be selected to receive:
- A free 3-month accelerator from Inkomoko, including training, assessment, and consulting
- Communication essentials and advertising platforms from MTN
- Seed capitala
We are looking for youth-led businesses/start-ups, that address a market need in Rwanda. The applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Must be Rwandan
- Business owner aged 18-30
- Must have digital presence or use e-commerce
- Must have a minimum of 3 employees
- Annual revenue less than Rwf200,000,000 (bank statement attached)
- Company must have proof of registration for at least 1 year (upload RDB certificate)
- Priority will be given to youth-led businesses that are making a social/environmental impact.
- Female applicants are encouraged to apply
- People with disabilities are encouraged to apply
