  • Izihirwe na MTN is a campaign to celebrate MTN Rwanda’s 25th anniversary and reward MTN customers. Total amount to be given to MTN users via draws is more than RWF 100,000,000.

Dial *456*25# only once or send any keyword (e.g., YES, WIN, CELEBRATE, 25) to 2325 short code. Opting in is totally free of charge.

Upon entering the promotion your points are activated and you enter the draws.

It is free of charge to all MTN customers. Customers are not charged to join Izihirwe na MTN.

Customers collect points by performing the actions listed below:

  1. Top up with at least RWF 50
  2. Activate a bundle of at least RWF 50
  3. Any other activity deemed necessary at the discretion of MTN from time to time. This shall be communicated to customers in advance.

All MTN Prepaid customers collect points by performing the actions listed above. To enter the draws, a customer needs to activate those points by entering the promotion. Each point equals to one participation in the draw. So, if a customer has 10 points then his has 10 participations for the draws.

Apart from MTN staff, their spouses all people that are close to them and MTN Agents, all Prepaid and Hybrid customers are eligible to join Izihirwe na MTN by dialling *456*25# or by sending any keyword to 2325 shortcode.

Once you join the Izihirwe na MTN promotion, your collected points will be activated and you will be eligible to enter random draws, standing a chance to win prizes listed below.

  • Daily prizes:

Every day, apart from the days that the Weekly, Monthly and Grand prizes are given away, 20 daily winners are determined via a random draw. Each winner will receive RWF 25,000 in cash.

  • Weekly prizes:

Every Friday, apart from the days that the Monthly prizes are given away 10 weekly winners are determined via a random draw. Each winner will receive RWF 250,000 in cash. The day that a Weekly prize draw is performed, no Daily, Monthly and Grand type of prize is drawn.

  • Monthly prizes:

2 Monthly cash prizes will be given away during the promotion period and for each one of them 5 monthly winners will be determined via a random draw. Each winner will receive RWF 2,500,000 in cash. The day that a Monthly prize draw is performed, no Daily, Weekly, and Grand type of prize is drawn.

  • Grand Prize:

The Grand winners will be determined after the end of the promotion period via a random draw. The draw will determine 3 winners who will win the grand prizes i.e., the first randomly drawn winner will get RWF 15,000,000 in cash and the second and third randomly drawn winners will get RWF 5,000,000 in cash each.

  • Telco prizes:

Everyday 5,000 opted-in users will win each 60 mins Voice Bundles (valid until Midnight) and 5,000 opted-in users will each win 150MBs Data Bundles (valid until Midnight) from MTN. All 10,000 winners will be determined via random draws.

  • Extra Prizes:

Extra prizes will be determined on random days throughout the duration of the promotion and will be awarded to 260 winners in total. The selection of the winners could be via draw or instantly. Each winner will get a cash prize worth RWF 25,000.

Each physical person no matter how many different MSISDNs are used on the network can only win:

  • 1 x The Daily Prize 
  • 1 x The Weekly Prize
  • 1 x The Monthly Prize
  • 1 x Grand Prize
  • 1 x Extra Prize

Izihirwe na MTN will begin on 23/01/2023 and will finish on 31/03/2023

A customer that has been selected as a winner, will be called by an MTN staff member with 0784000000 who will inform them that they have won & guide them on how they will get their prize.

After opting out, you become a non-Participant and you will no longer receive reply, promotional SMS for Izihirwe na MTN and will no longer be part of any future draw.

Iyo umaze kwinjira muri promosiyo, amanota yawe atangira kwikusanya ndetse ukaba winjiye mu banyamahirwe bashobora kubona impano.

Abakiliya bose ba MTN bagura amainite (Prepaid na Hybrid) babona amanota bakoresheje bumwe mu buryo bwavuzwe haruguru. Kugira ngo umukiliya agire amahirwe yo kubona impano muri IZIHIRWE, agomba kuba yarinjiye muri promosiyo. Buri nota ryose umukiliya ahawe ringana n’ubwitabire bumwe mu gihe cyo guhitamo abatsindira impano . Bivuze ko niba umukiliya afite amanota 10 aba afite amanota 10 mu guhitamo abatsindira impano.

  • Impano z’umunsi: Buri munsi, hakuwemo iminsi hatangwaho Impano z’icyumweru, ukwezi cyangwa Impano nyamukuru, abantu 20 bazatsindira impano zitangwa buri munsi binyuze mu guhitamo. Uwatsinze wese ahabwa amafaranga ibihumbi Rwf 25,000 kashi.
  • Impano z’icyumweru: Buri wa gatanu, hakuwemo iminsi hatangwaho Impano z’ukwezi, Impano zihabwa abatsinze 10 batsindiye impano zitangwa buri cyumweru.   Uwatsinze wese ahabwa ibihumbi Rwf 250,000 kashi. K’umunsi wo guhitamo abatsindiye Impano z’icyumweru, nta mpano z’umunsi, ukwezi cyangwa nyamukuru zizajya zitangwa.
  • Impano z’ukwezi: Hazatangwa Impano z’ukwezi inshuro 2 mu gihe cy’iyi promosiyo ndetse kandi kuri buri nshuro hakazahembwa abatsinze 5 bazamenyekana mu mahitamo. Uwatsinze wese azahabwa miliyoni Rwf 2,500,000 kashi. Umunsi habayeho guhitamo abatsindiye Impano z’ukwezi, nta mpano z’umunsi,z’icyumweru cyangwa nyamukuru zizatangwa.
  • Impano nyamukuru: Abazatsindira Impano nyamukuru bazamenyekana mwisozwa rya promosiyo binyuze mu mahitamo. Abatsinze 3 bazatsindira Impano nyamukuru, bivuze ko: Uwambere azatsindira miliyoni Rwf 15,000,000 kashi ndetse uwa kabiri n’uwa gatatu aho buri wese azatsindira miliyoni Rwf 5,000,000 kashi.
  • Izindi Mpano: Buri munsi abantu ibihumbi 5,000 bitabiriye iyi promosiyo bazahabwa iminota 60/k’umuntu ya paki zo guhamagara (ikoreshwa kugeza saa sita z’ijoro) ndetse n’abandi ibihumbi 5,000  bazahabwa MBs 150/k’umuntu za paki za interineti (zikoreshwa kugera saa sita z’ijoro) nk’impano ziva muri MTN. Aba bantu ibihumbi 10,000 bazamenyekana mu mahitamo.
  • Impano z’inyongera: Impano z’inyongera zizatangwa ku iminsi izagenwa mu gihe cy’iyi promosiyo ndetse hakazahembwa abakiriya 260. Uwatsinze wese azahabwa Impano zifite agaciro k’ibihumbi Rwf 25,000 kashi.
