Current Project Plans

The Southern and Eastern Provinces are the focal area at the moment where Schools and conglomerations are invited to send their applications in the below identified areas so as to be able to be selected as viable projects in ICT based Education and provision of safe drinking water.

We are determined that our network will empower Rwandans, not only by facilitating effective communications, but by ensuring that communities and ordinary Rwandans will have access to better education and good health.

Education Portfolio

Schools Connect	A project designed to enable teachers and pupils in secondary schools to gain confidence and understanding of how Information Communication Technology can add value to their lives and learning by giving them access to internet and electricity.

Health Portfolio

Project	Description
Safer Water, healthier people	To improve the well-being, protect, develop & socially include vulnerable section of society such as child headed families, widows, aged , and other unprivileged group in our society. Emphasis will be for those who do not get support from any recognised agents living in conglomeration settlement.

Format for applications

All applications should be either hand delivered at MTN HQ Nyarutarama P.O. Box 264 Kigali, Rwanda; addressed to Legal and Corporate Affairs Department, MTN Foundation Office or email to yvonnem@mtn.co.rw.
All applications should be submitted in the specified format i.e. Business document, with attachments where necessary.
The application can be in English, French or Kinyarwanda and typed.
The applications should contain a background and detailed description of project content, scope and intended beneficiaries.

List of requirements

Copy of Company Registration, Certificate of Incorporation, Company Profile if applicable.
A breakdown of the financial statements or budget of the intend project, which must include a list of other sponsors and amounts granted for previous and current year FINANCING, if applicable.
Documentary proof of other collaborating sponsors, if applicable
Copy of independent evaluation of your organisation, if one has been done.
A c.v./fact sheet of the applicant/applying organisation.

APPLICATIONS WHICH DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE FORMAT AND REQUIREMENTS MAY BE DISQUALIFIED FROM CONSIDERATION
