MTN Rwanda rounded off its annual 21 Days of Y’ello Care employee volunteer programme this past weekend, which saw employees volunteer their time, skills and resources to make a difference in the community under the theme of “Investing in Education for All”, and in line with MTN's vision 'to lead the delivery of a bold, new Digital World to customers'.
Kigali – MTN is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gunter Engling as CEO of MTN Rwanda, replacing Mr Ebenezer Asante who moves to take over MTN’s key operation in Ghana as CEO, effective July 2015.
MTN Rwanda and Bank of Kigali have partnered to improve access to mobile financial services (MFS) by enabling customers to move money between their MTN Mobile Money wallets and their Bank of Kigali accounts and vice versa. All MTN Subscribers who are also customers of Bank of Kigali can now have their Mobile Money wallets linked to their Bank accounts, meaning that they can pull money from their Bank Accounts onto their mobile money wallet or push money from their wallets to their Bank accounts automatically.
Kigali – Mobisol has joined mobile network operator MTN in their 21 Days of Y’ello Care campaign that began on June 1st, to electrify eight rural Rwandan schools with no prior access to electricity in the districts of Gicumbi, Ngoma, Kamonyi, Nyagatare, Gakenke, Nyaruguru, Nyabihu and Nyamasheke.
In line with regulatory requirements, MTN Rwanda will be changing the codes for loading Airtime and checking balance for all MTN Mobile customers in Rwanda, effective 15th June 2015.

In a bid to bring quality customer care to the doorsteps of its valued subscribers, MTN Rwanda has announced the launch of four new customer service centres in three provinces located at Karongi (Western Province), Petit Barriere (Western Province), Gicumbi (Northern Province) and Nyakarambi (Eastern Province). This move reaffirms MTN’s mission of making its customers’ lives a whole lot brighter by ensuring the highest levels of service to its customers.
