MyMTN App is an all-in-one, self-care tool enabling MTN customers to self-serve and engage with customer service online and everywhere they go. The application is available for all MTN post-paid and prepaid smartphones subscribers. It can be downloaded for freefrom app stores such as Apple Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) or BlackBerry World.
MyMTN App is another customer-centric innovation to give customers full control of their MTN phone accounts. MyMTN app is easy to download and free to use, that means customers are not charged for data used on the app. The App gives subscribers greater control of their own mobile services so that they can access services and solve issues without having to contact company representatives.
MyMTN exists out of 2 main platforms – Mobile Money and MyMTN Self-Care. For Mobile Money, the regular 5-digit pin is used to login. For MyMTN Self-Care, an account is created, and the user will from then on be able to access Self-Care services with his/her set password. Additionally, login is supported by an SMS code to ensure security of customers’ accounts.

MyMTN ensures customers have access to information about MTN’s products and services whenever they need it (24 hours a day) and at their convenience. Not all MTN products are available yet through MyMTN, however, we hope to enable more services to customers soon.



How can I download MyMTN App?
The App can be downloaded from several application platforms including Play Store, BlackBerry World and the Apple Store.

Is the App free to download?
The MyMTN App is free of downloading costs to all, to enjoy the app to the fullest.

Do I spend data while using the MyMTN App?
The MyMTN App is completely zero-rated, meaning no data is used while being active on the App.

Are my accounts secure in MyMTN?
MyMTN App has many security measures, as conventional measures are combined with SMS codes. For your Mobile Money account, you will have to fill in your 5-digit pin as well as a SMS code you will receive when opening the MoMo section. For the Self-Care section, customers create their own password in the App. When using the MyMTN for the first time on a phone, and SMS will be sent with a One-Time-Password to your number. This means that when someone else tries to log in to your account, your phone gets stolen or you lose it, your details are safe if no one else knows your personal pin or password.

MyMTN App is not working for me, what do I do?
MyMTN performs up to expectations consistently, however, in case it is not working a customer can always use the MTN USSD platforms. Please also communicate your issue to MTN call centre at 100 so that the issue can be solved as soon as possible.

Who do I contact about questions regarding the MyMTN App?
When you have a question, you can first check the App itself. The FAQs section of the App provides answers to many questions you might have. If the question you have is not answered in the FAQ section, the App can be used to send a question to customer service or be used to locate the closest service centre. If your inquiry remains unanswered, please dial the customer service line at 100.
